Next play was a run that gained nice yardage for a first down, and the referees are not playing with calling and throwing flags for bad plays and with the team right outside the redzone. We could use the free yards; next place was a short pass to WR13 to put us in the redzone. The Roughnecks defense steps up and when it counts.. and just like every other time. Just like that we are in the final quarter of the game and first play Houston goes for a long run by the QB that puts them in the redzone. Then the moment we all have been waiting for and that was for the defense to make a turnover and such a big play by CB25 who picked of the ball in the endzone. Which ultimately resulted in a punt to the Roughnecks that was returned and fumbled by the returner after a hard hit from our Renegades team but the ball was ruled dead by the referees. Houston retains the ball and their first play is a run by RB35 and for the second play. They give him the ball again for a 5-yard gain and it is starting to look like the Roughnecks are trying to run out the clock. Which 8 minutes left in the game, our team looks tired and beat up. The next play the defense steps up and deflects the pass to the WR and the game it ultimately lost.
