This was my first IFL Arena Football game and boy was I impressed, with the fans, the game speed, the wide receivers getting a running start, the high scoring and of course the hard hits!!! The opening ceremony was a big hit as well, then to have post game field interaction with the players was super dope! I had my son in the audience and he watched the Youtube feed while being at the game and he enjoyed that experience, we are now FANS!
Our Frisco Fighters were able to continue their winning streak, defeating the Pirates in a 56-39 victory. TJ Edwards had a great game, throwing for two touchdowns and running for four more. The combination of Phazione McClurge and Jerminic Smith proved to be a formidable force, with the two receivers combining for 141 yards on 13 receptions. Jimmy Smith also contributed two touchdowns on the ground.
Our Frisco Fighters remain the top team in the Eastern Conference with a 4-0 record, while the Pirates fall to 2-1. It will be interesting to see if the Fighters can continue their win streak in their upcoming matchup against the Arizona Rattlers.
