Baseball on Wednesday night is a great way to get past the middle of the week and in HODGETOWN, Texas the did jus that. Our Frisco RoughRiders and the Amarillo Sod Poodles faced off in game two of the series, with the Sod Poodles ultimately winning 12-11 in 10 innings. The RoughRiders were leading 11-1 in the seventh inning, but the Sod Poodles managed to score three runs in the seventh inning and seven more runs in the eighth inning to tie the game. In the bottom of the tenth inning, the Sod Poodles’ Jordan Lawlar hit an RBI double to win the game. Blake Workman was the winning pitcher for Amarillo, while Marc Church took the loss for Frisco. Nick Tanielu and Scott Kapers hit solo home runs for Frisco, while Luisangel Acuña, Kellen Strahm, and Chris Seise each had two hits.
