This Week: 5-1 The AL West leading Texas Rangers (14-7) started off the week by completing the sweep of the defending MLB champions, Houston Astros. The offense and pitching showed up and out against the Kansas City Royals in yet, another sweep. The Rangers outscored the Royals 28-5 in three games. While they didn’t sweep the A’s, they managed to keep the same offensive power happening, outscoring Oakland 28-9. That’s right, they scored 56 runs in 6 games, right under 10 runs a game. If you consistently do that, you’re not losing many games. MVP of the week goes to Adolis Garcia. Who went on a tear this week finishing with 8 hits, 4 HRs, 14 RBI.
