The Arizona Diamondbacks defeated our Texas Rangers 12-7 on Wednesday, snapping the Rangers’ four-game winning streak. Christian Walker hit two homers and drew a bases-loaded walk in the seventh inning that put the Diamondbacks ahead for good. Walker’s five RBIs matched his career-best in his sixth career multihomer game. Ketel Marte and Emmanuel Rivera also homered for Arizona, while Josh Jung hit two homers for the Rangers. The eight combined homers set a single-game high at Globe Life Field, which opened in 2020. Diamondbacks’ rookie outfielder Corbin Carroll, who had missed three games due to a left knee injury, entered the game as a pinch-hitter in the seventh and had a leadoff single.
