Brent Rooker was the star of this game after hitting a game-winning three-run homer in the 10th inning, helping the Oakland Athletics snap their five-game losing streak with a 9-7 victory over our Texas Rangers. Esteury Ruiz had a strong performance with a home run and four RBIs for the A’s. Kevin Smith and Carlos Pérez also homered for Oakland. Adolis GarcÃa and Marcus Semien provided key hits for the Rangers in the 10th inning, giving us a two-run lead, but the A’s rallied back for the win. Robbie Grossman had a productive game for the Rangers with a home run and a RBI double. The A’s won on a walk-off hit for the third time this season. Shintaro Fujinami earned his first career win by retiring two batters in relief. MartÃn Peréz and Ken Waldichuk had rough performances as starting pitchers for their respective teams.
