Our Texas Rangers defeated the Oakland Athletics on Saturday, securing our second win in three days against the Oakland A’s. Nathaniel Lowe and Ezequiel Duran hit home runs for the Rangers, while starting pitcher Jon Gray took a no-hitter into the seventh inning. Texas scored early with an RBI single by Lowe and a sacrifice fly by Marcus Semien to take a 2-0 lead. Lowe added a solo home run in the fourth inning, and Duran hit a two-run homer in the ninth. Gray pitched eight innings, allowing only three hits and striking out five. The A’s had their chances, but a strong defensive play by Adolis Garcia in right field prevented a run in the seventh inning. The Rangers put on a slug fest out-hitting the A’s 9-5 and was the driving factor for this game 3 victory.
