Our Texas Rangers defeated the Seattle Mariners in a 3 game series between AL West rivals. Dane Dunning pitched six innings for Texas, and allowing two runs on six hits. Marcus Semien homered and had two RBIs for the division-leading Rangers. The Mariners scored in the first inning on an error by Robbie Grossman. The Rangers took the lead with three runs scored in the third inning. The Mariners pulled within a run in the eighth, but our Rangers held on for the win. Luis Castillo took the loss for Seattle, giving up three runs in five innings.
